Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career in an actor in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt, she played Willa McPherson as reporter. She also played as a support character on the short-lived series The Ex List. The first season of FX's American Horror Story, she played Moira O'Hara's young character. Then she played Kaylee in season three. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She voices various characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019, she has starred as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when she and her mother relocated to California,[1] where they moved around for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she began taking an interest in acting, photography and singing. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue her acting career.
